Differences in occupational values, communication types, job satisfaction, and organisational commitment among clinical nurses across generations

Introduction This study examined occupational values, communication types, job satisfaction, and organisational commitment among clinical nurses across generations. Methods Participants were 159 nurses. Data collected from 1 to 15 August, 2022, using a self-reported questionnaire. Results Statistically significant differences observed generations in terms of satisfaction ( F = 3.492, p 0.03) 4.371, 0.01). However, there no values 0.765, 0.47) or types 1.744, 0.18) There was moderate strong positive correlation between all generations, Generations Y Z. Discussion To improve the quality nursing care, various intervention programs based on generational gap need be developed, reduce conflicts, ultimately establishing necessary systems through mutual understanding education.
